J.W. Anderson Show-Women's collection Spring/Summer 2018 in Londres (with interview)

access_time 00:01:51

Designer: jonathan andersonatmosphere: one of the most highly anticipated shows of london fashion week, set in a circle, with the models passing in-between the rows. anderson wanted to present his idea of ‘calm’ in relation to the ‘turmoil’ that the world endures today. collection: research into materials and movement seen through midi-length, asymmetric skirts with ruffles on the bottom, worn with coordinating bras or tops that emphasize the chest, with or without balloon sleeves. the leather is reworked with a high shine and boiled effect to become more powerful. bermuda shorts are suggested with anderson’s loose version. the logoed name tag becomes part of the trousers of skirt scarf. stripes and vibrantly coloured sequins brighten the dresses. to note: thread and cord become belts and connect parts of the outfit to each other & the new shoes- trainers.interview with veronika heilbrunner, co-founder of hey womani loved the show, i think it was a great start for london fashion week. i love how interestingly it's designed and put together. the materials, fabrics, colours, but then it still looks so easy to wear. all of the details, i feel like “yeah i can put that on and go to the beach or on a summer holiday” so i think it looks quite casual, you want to have fun in those outfits. you can wear them everywhere and i love that, i love the ease. music from the show (only for use in context of the show, under the cover of the right to information).
