Designer: Maroussia RebecqInspiration: "Work in progress" ... and the constantly evolving Andrea Crews team + a historical reference to the industrial revolution and to the workers with work uniformFocus on: the protection uniform in orange fabric used as a jacket and urban jumpsuit, recycled jeans and reworked with inside-out couture and frayed edges + The waterproof printed with torn posters Note: the 'work' sweater & cap "on strike"Interview from Maroussia Rebecq: This collection is called work and so it really talks about the work we do to build a collection, and up until the fashion show we are still working on it so it is still a work in progress. There is clearly a historical reference to work through the denim, the work blue, references to workers and to the industrial revolution. There are lots of references that show that we are stamped by history and it is our way to show it also in the collection. It comes from upcycling which is the DNA of Andrea Crews where we cut the jeans, rewash them, taper them, so you will see unique, vintage pieces like that transformed with inside out couture and then we developed the patronage which is the same idea with the cut and tapered jeans. There is also this kway fabric which we’ve taken from the original but it’s still a waterproof fabric printed with torn posters which also a link to the street.Music of the show, do not reuse for more than 7 days after the show
