Alexander McQueen- Fashion show- WOMEN'S collection Autumn-Winter 2016/17 in London (with interview)

Designer : Sarah BurtonInspiration: between dream and reality, the McQueen woman meets flowers, unicorns, swans, butterflies, along her way becoming closer to the moon and stars, boudoir spirit, a wink to the 40sFocus: lingerie dresses, patterns are printed and applied, then embroidered twice, silk satin coats, the leather corsetNote: the flagship of the house- the very present tailoring, reworked under her feminine and sensual aspect+ Fairy head jewelryInterview from Sarah Mower:I thought it was exquisite, almost couture level, and to see that coming out of London is a real pride for me because I am British. I went to preview everything that was going on and there were hundreds of seamstresses and embroiderers, it ended up being incredibly feminine and magical I thought. This place is the exact place where she did her first Alexander McQueen show, 20 years ago, so in a way it is a homecoming. Alexander McQueen represents a certain kind of British poetry and strength. It is very hard to define and all I know is that Sarah Burton is bringing something new to it, she’s finding her femininity. Music of the show, (donot reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
