The eye-catching luxuriousness, glitzy even for the golden boys.designer: olivier rousteing place: the reception rooms of a hotel in the 8th arrondissement of paris inspiration & silhouette: at balmain, olivier rousteing shows his new urban princes, with quilted leathers, big belts, gaiters zipped, biker jacket revisited, all adorned in gold. he puts his envy for splendour into the prestige of the uniform, gold buttons, frogs, pompons and danton collar, velvet morning coat and double breasted blazer embroidered with stones.to note: the look ultra luxurious, couture, with embroidery, trimmings, incredible weavings. rider’s boots and chic bags+ the show that opens with model jon kortajarena and his intense gazeinterview from olivier rousteing:for me it was very important to be able to play with the accessories this year. i think the man’s wardrobe is of course important in terms of shirts, jackets, trousers but this year i wanted to give it a uniform side, this aristocracy, which is also defined if we can say through accessories, for example the high collars, the danton collar. i did them in gold, silver and i also did all the gaiters and the high-waisted belts. for me it was really important to accessorize this silhouette to make it even more aristocratic.but it is important to make this aristocracy modern, so there was still this very hip hop and streetwear side to clash with this very aristocratic aspect then i mixed the two, doing what is today's new generation for me.for me it was really essential to think that men can be really sophisticated, really distinguished, a parisian dandy, who is inspired by diverse culture and brought it back to paris through uniforms, on these clothes, in his wardrobe and that's what i like about the man's wardrobe, is to play with the codes. so you can really feel this distinguished, more sophisticated aspect, but it is also balmain. and balmain is a luxury couture house, filled with richnessmusic of the show, (donot reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
