The retail group, owner of Cortefiel, Springfield and Women’s Secret, has bought Spanish fashion label Intropia that in November 2018 went into liquidation. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.
The board of Spanish fashion group Tendam has appointed Jaume Miquel as its new executive chairman. The appointment will be combined with Miquel’s responsibilities as CEO, a position he has held since 2016.
The Spanish clothing group is back on the growth track and has reduced its debt compared to the previous half-year. The latest performance was boosted by a rise in online sales and an effective stock management.
Cortefiel has reason to celebrate, unveiling its third quarter results this week. The firm reported an increase in total sales, strong e-commerce revenues and an uptick in operating profit, as well as a decline in debt.
