Due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases in France, many international buyers and fashion industry professionals won’t be travelling to the French capital for Paris Fashion Week at the end of September.
The London Show Rooms, part of Parisian trade show Tranoï since 2017, have introduced new British fashion talents like ready-to-wear label Ahluwalia and jewellery brand Hatton Labs during Paris Fashion Week Men’s.
This season, the Milan Fashion Week Men’s has teamed up with London, and will welcome a spate of new names and major comebacks, from Gucci to Ferragamo, to bolster its programme and make up for 11 withdrawals.
The British Fashion Council has linked up with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to bring a team of burgeoning young British talent to the next Milan menswear season in January, in a rare display of unity.
Paris Fashion Week opened on Monday 23 September, and the Première Classe, Woman, Tranoï and Splash trade shows will follow suit at the end of the week, attracting buyers who came to the French capital for the event.
