In a ruddy sign of renewed health for the Italian fashion capital, Milan Fashion Week has added five new noted houses to its official calendar, which was released Friday afternoon by the Camera della Moda.
From the September 2019 edition, the Milan Fashion Week show calendar will be more balanced, to make each day a special occasion. In February 2020, Gucci will open the week and Armani will stage the closing show.
Versace went to the stock market Friday night in Milan, for a runway show and not a flotation. Referencing all the house's codes and starring two generations of uber models, this was a great performance from Donatella.
Gucci returns to the Italian runways after a hiatus in Paris, to stage its next runway show on Wednesday afternoon, February 20, during the next Italian runway season, whose official calendar was released on Tuesday.
With big industry names, celebrities, and grand runway events from Moncler and Tommy Hilfiger, not to mention Versace's double anniversary, Milan Fashion Week, which starts this Tuesday, promises to be action-packed.
