Joor is in expansion mode. The online wholesale management platform said its virtual show support facility Joor Passport is continuing to grow with new partnerships including the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair.
Brands will be able to choose from different packages to take part in Digital Fashion Week Europe, booking a stand for the Fashion Cloud platform and for the physical sessions of trade shows Modefabriek and CIFF.
As Denmark transitions to its highest Covid-19 alert level, Copenhagen Fashion Week has announced that this February’s edition will be a fully digital event, while the CIFF and Revolver trade fairs have been cancelled.
The Danish fashion event has pushed back its summer session’s dates but will still be held in physical format, unlike similar events. The decision came after an agreement was reached with the CIFF and Revolver shows.
Trade show organisers have been forced to cancel the events planned for June, and are reviewing their plans. Among the options, postponements and ramped-up virtual solutions, as the end of lock-down remains uncertain.
Copenhagen Fashion Week has announced that – at least for the moment – it plans to maintain its current dates, and will take place in the first week of August 2020, bucking a recent trend of postponing seasons in Europe.
It was a mixed bag for men’s fashion trade shows this season. Among the livelier trade shows, Man and Welcome Edition, and the quieter Tranoï, the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair was pleased with its Paris debut.
The next sessions of the Parisian fashion trade shows will start on Friday June 21, featuring the well-established Tranoï and Man/Woman events, as well as the maiden Parisian edition of Danish show CIFF.
