The famous British multibrand retailer is refraining from cancelling orders placed with the emerging labels it sells, and has set up the Family Affair project, paying young creatives to produce content for its website.
Making its debut on Monday, the Dazed Beauty Space is a 150 sq mt playground created by set designer Thomas Petherick. The experiential pop-up will host a programme of events including make-up tutorials and workshops.
The label staged a show that was as theatrical as we’ve come to expect from it on the first day of London Fashion Week Men’s on Saturday with a dual-gender celebration of eco principles, colour and, of course, Scotland.
Expect a somewhat confusing scene in London Fashion Week this season, with a multitude of art installations, pop-ups and events open to the public –though much of that will represent a very welcome change.
The next sessions of the Parisian fashion trade shows will start on Friday June 21, featuring the well-established Tranoï and Man/Woman events, as well as the maiden Parisian edition of Danish show CIFF.
