Faced with the difficulties posed by the Russian market, the eponymous luxury brand, which showed in Paris on Tuesday, has decided to strengthen its international presence, focusing particularly on the United States.
Carven has just announced the appointment of Alexis Martial (formerly at Iceberg and Givenchy) and Adrien Caillaudaud (formerly at Givenchy and Marc Jacobs) as the label’s new creative directors for women's collections.
The French designer, who worked alongside Nicolas Ghesquière (at Callaghan and Balenciaga) and whose leather jacket brand was launched in 2009, will be the new head of the menswear collections at Carven.
