Sports giant Asics really does have a challenge on its hands. The company has reported bleak nine-month figures and has also downgraded its full-year profit expectations as net sales fell 4.7% to ¥295.68 billion.
The former professional trade fair, since transformed by Zalando into a hybrid event combining trade show with fashion and music festival, returns to Berlin for its third edition from 31st August to 2nd September.
The Japanese brand has signed an agreement with the International Paralympic Committee to become its official supplier until the end of 2020 in a major deal that will position it as a leader in the para sports arena.
American trade show organizer UBM has confided the development of its new event to Pierre-Nicolas Hurstel. Remode, a networking event for brands, with conferences, meetings and demonstrations, is slated for November.

The Australian Olympic Committee has announced that Japanese sportswear corporation Asics will be the Australian team’s official apparel partner for all Olympic competitions up to the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games.
