Zalando is stepping up its expansion into the world of fashion. The German e-commerce site has announced a partnership with the British brand Topshop. In September, for the fall-winter 2014/15 season, it will launch an e-shop on its e-commerce platform dedicated to both Topshop and its delineation for men, Topman, the company announced in a statement.

Twelve bloggers were invited to participate in the launch of Topshop on Zalando. Here, the English blogger Rebecca Laurey.

Zalando customers will have access to a "wide range of Topshop and Topman products, from clothing to footwear and accessories" in several European countries (although not in the UK) including Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Switzerland, Finland, and exclusively for Topman in Norway and Denmark.

Owned by Arcadia Group, the popular British retailer, which has just enlisted Cara Delevingne for its new fall-winter 2014/15 campaign, is branching out from its own e-commerce store by adding a virtual shop in shop on Zalando in order to benefit from the Berlin site’s customer service, which offers free delivery and returns.

Meanwhile, Zalando will have the opportunity to participate in a prestigious collaboration. As David Schneider, a member of its management board, points out: "Through working with brands as trend driven as Topshop and Topman are, Zalando gains momentum as the leading online fashion destination providing the right styles for our fashion-conscious customers in Europe."

For the launch of the Topshop and Topman’s e-shop on its website, Zalando is collaborating with 12 voices from the world of fashion, including bloggers, journalists and trendsetters from various European cities.
