Yours Clothing opens new store in Chelmsford

Plus size clothing brand Yours Clothing has opened the doors of a new store at Meadows Shopping Centre in Chelmsford.

Yours Clothing is the UK’s fastest growing plus-size retailer, with 136 stores across the UK and Ireland and 35 more planned for this year in the UK and abroad.

The new Chelmsford store opened on Thursday in a unit previously occupied by Evans. The store is located next to Sports Direct and Card Factory.

A spokesman for the brand commented in March: “We are thrilled to be opening a store in Chelmsford which will bring another store to the county town of Essex. We are hugely passionate towards rapidly growing our stores within the UK along with an international focus this year and wish our new Chelmsford team all the best for a great store opening and season of trade”.

The brand caters to women with UK sizes 16-32, offering ‘fashion and affordable’ clothing across every day and occasion wear, lingerie and nightwear, as well as footwear. It recently won the Best High Street Retailer at the 2016 British Plus Size Awards.

The Meadows Centre manager, Sue Patel, says “We are delighted to welcome another new retailer to the Meadows. Yours will become the sixth ladies fashion retailer at The Meadows, and will add a unique offering for the city’s fashion conscious shoppers”.
