Yoox enters sportswear

Following the lead of Net-A-Porter, which opened its Net-A-Sporter activewear arm on July 9, the Italian e-commerce giant Yoox is now also entering sportswear.

Yoox is adding sportswear to its range, which already includes fashion, design and art


The e-tailer, overseen by Federico Marchetti, will launch its new activewear section in September 2014. It will include collections from international brands for women, men and children.

According to the company, the future range will be eclectic, spanning several price and fashion segments, from more functional to more fashionable. Yoox already successfully launched its design" and "art" product categories in recent seasons.
