Yoox: chief financial officer Francesco Guidotti steps down

Published
Apr 14, 2015

Yoox has announced the departure of its financial director Francesco Guidotti in a press release. He has decided to step down from his position "to pursue a new professional experience," said the group without giving any further details.

The online fashion retailer has apparently not yet found a successor.

The Italian executive, who started his career among luxury labels (TAG Heuer, Bulgari), left Yoox for the first time in 2006… after serving as CFO for three years. After stints elsewhere, notably at Pinko, he rejoined the group and stepped back into his former position in 2010, just after the company listed itself on the stock market.

This resignation comes at the same time that the Italian site is getting ready to merge with Net-a-Porter, a subsidiary of the Richemont group, to create a new Internet giant.

A press release on Tuesday from Bravofly, the online travel search engine, announced that Guidotti will be joining its executive management team as CFO on May 1, 2015.
