Who's Next revamps organization for January

Published
Dec 22, 2014

Following a lukewarm edition last July, Who's Next is now aiming to get the pep back in its step through a reorganization of its range. Its new plan includes two notable elements: the return to the fore of Première Classe for accessories and the return to a more segmented ready-to-wear section. The objective: a clearer organization that allows buyers to optimize their time.

The floor plan of Who's Next from January 23 to 26.

Goodbye "Who's Next Accessories" and "Who's Next Ready-to-wear." While the event’s accessories bloc will not be changed very much, it will get a new name. A trade show within a trade show, the accessories division will return to the end of the main aisle, and closer to the entrance of The Porte de Versailles Exhibition Grounds as in July. It will be located in Hall 7, on floors 1 and 2 under the banner of Première Classe.

Ready-to-wear, on the other hand, will truly be reorganized. Having tried out a two-bloc division: Fame and Who's Next Ready-to-Wear, the show is now adopting a more segmented approach. While Fame will remain unchanged, latter will be divided into four sections.

The Private offer will return to Hall 2, bringing together "internationally renowned creative womenswear brands with strong commercial potential." It’s neighbor, Hall 3, will be split into three: Trendy for "stylish and affordable womenswear brands," Studio for "elegant and sophisticated female collections" and finally Urban for "men’s and women’s denim and street-wear”, in the words of the organizers.

“From”, the small space dedicated to international sourcing will be kept as is, but will be moved to hall 4, next to Fame.
