White Milano introduces new sportswear section

Published
Dec 18, 2015

Italian tradeshow White Milano has announced that its January show will grow by 15% compared with the June edition. Around 231 brands will take part in the show.

For this edition, the show has doubled its "Only Woman" section, which now houses about 40 international brands.

"The numbers demonstrate the success of the format we launched last June and correspond to a concrete response to what is happening in the market. The growth of the ONLY WOMAN section, and associated special areas dedicated to Women’s fashion, confirms a strategy directed toward mixing a selection of the most researched labels with medium to large established companies presenting their pre-collections," said White founder Massimiliano Bizzi.

White has also consolidated its menswear offering, and will introduce a new section entirely dedicated to sportswear. The section will feature both ready-to-wear brands that utilize activewear details and aesthetics, and traditional sportswear companies. Brands taking part include Le Coq Sportif, Kappa and Superga, as well as CBS London, which is making its debut at the show.
