Wes Gordon signs an eyeglasses collection for Silhouette

The New York-based womenswear designer Wes Gordon collaborated with Silhouette to create a sunglasses collection.

Labelled 'Wes Gordon for Silhouette', this limited edition series of 4 pairs of eyeglasses combines the designer's personal aesthetic with Silhouette's ­avant-garde approach.

The collection features eyeglasses that combine retro glamour with a futuristic vibe, in a style inspired by Silhouette's iconic 'Titan Minimal Art' model.
 
Available in four colours (nude brown, classic grey, classic green and ocean blue), each lens is created from a single piece of hand-sanded glass, which is then tinted in a contrasting hue using a needle, a new technique developed by Silhouette.

For his first eyewear collection, Wes Gordon, who stated that "my mission is to provide women with effortless sophistication," worked alongside Silhouette's creative team at the brand's studios and manufacturing workshop in Austria.
