Volcom’s Global VP of Retail, Eric John, resigns
today Jan 5, 2016
The departure of CEO Jason Steris in December, replaced by Todd Hymel, was the first sign of a major change at Volcom. At the time, Hymel was CEO of Action Sports Brands at Kering, a role he continues to hold.

Eric John is the first member of Jason Steris' close circle to leave Volcom, says the self-described "daily news source for action sports executives," Shop-eat-surf. The Global VP of Retail had been part of the company since 2008. He founded the American label Laguna Surf & Sport and was part of the team that started the Electric brand.
