Jan 28 - Limited Brands Inc, parent of women's lingerie chain Victoria's Secret, said on Friday that it would raise its dividend by 33 percent.

Limited, which also operates the Bath & Body Works and La Senza chains, will pay an annual dividend of 80 cents a share, up from 60 cents. The first quarterly payment will take place on March 11 to shareholders of record on Feb. 25.

Limited has consistently reported strong sales gains in the past year. In December, sales at stores open at least a year, or same-store sales, rose 5 percent, above Wall Street forecasts.
