Vertbaudet alongside Unicef

Published
Sep 16, 2009

The first international convention of children’s rights was established twenty years ago. This convention, ratified by 193 states, was largely initiated by Unicef. To celebrate its twentieth anniversary, Vertbaudet has teamed up with Unicef to create a t-shirt called “Children’s Rights” as well as two styles of children’s toys.

Vertbaudet, Unicef
Vertbaudet for Unicef

With the purchase of one of these items, Vertbaudet gives €1.50 to Unicef.

Each of the toys, a small girl or boy cuddly toy, will cost €14.90 and t-shirts for children aged 2-12 years will start at €9.90. The range will be available on the label’s website or in Vertbaudet stores.

Money raised from this collaboration will support a vaccination program run by Unicef in the Central African Republic. The program aims to protect children from childhood illnesses with, amongst other actions, vaccinations, screenings and the distribution of mosquito nets. Since 2007, Unicef has vaccinated 693,072 children against measles.
