Trussardi is active on all fronts

Trussardi has launched a line of apparel and accessories for... dogs! Thanks to the Italian luxury label, pet lovers will now be able to dress up their favourite Fido in super chic Italian apparel.

Trussardi has indeed announced in a press release a licence agreement with Fashion Streetwear Italia for the worldwide production and distribution of the 'Trussardi for your dog' line.

Fashion Streetwear Italia is a Tuscan company specialised in high-end pet accessories. Fashion labels Roberto Cavalli and Alviero Martini are among its clients.

Collars, leashes, embroidered knitwear, overcoats, down jackets etc.: Trussardi, whose emblem is a greyhound, will distribute its dog wardrobe in specialised pet shops, in department stores and in selected mono-brand stores.

Another novelty for the group is the collaboration with David Trezeguet. The former French national team footballer, world champion in 1998 and top scorer at the European championship in 2000, ended his playing career last year and will be Trussardi's new brand ambassador.

Trezeguet will wear Trussardi clothes and accessories at all the official events in which he will be involved as president of the 'Juventus Legends' club of former players for the Italian league team, and as the club's ambassador worldwide.

Trussardi's first foray into sport was indeed with Juventus, in the 2013/14 season, when the fashion label outfitted the renowned Turin football club.
