Topman to arrive in Peru this year
Jan 18, 2016
Topman, the menswear arm of the English retailer Topshop, is currently negotiating its entry into the Peruvian market. The brand could be arriving in Peru this year with a directly-owned store.
The move is part of Topman’s international expansion, which has seen it open new locations in different South American countries. The brand currently has a store in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which was opened three years ago, and a second store in Chile, launched in 2015.
Topman’s South American expansion has been led independently from Topshop, as it gains momentum as a separate menswear brand. The strategy has made the retailer stand out from other international labels, such as H&M and Forever21, which only stock womenswear in the region.
Topshop has not yet disclosed if it plans to open a store in Peru.
