Tommy Hilfiger to sponsor the Serpentine Summer Party

This year’ Serpentine Summer Party, a highlight of London’s annual social calendar, will be sponsored by American lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger.

The event, taking place at the Serpentine Gallery in London’s Kensington Gardens on July 6, 2016, will be co-hosted by Mr. Tommy Hilfiger himself, alongside actress Salma Hayek, former mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg and Serpentine Director of Summer Programmes, Julia Peyton-Jones and Artistic Director Hans Ulrich Obrist.

The Serpentine Summer Party is hosted each year by the Serpentine Gallery, one of London’s most popular art venues, to kick off the summer season.

Past guests have included celebrities and models such as Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Pharrell Williams, and as well as distinguished names from the art and fashion worlds including Zandra Rhodes, Tracey Emin and David Bailey.

This year’s Serpentine Pavillion, a temporary landmark structure exhibited during the summer months, has been designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, who created a structure inspired by an “unzipped wall” which has been transformed from a straight line into a three-dimensional space.
