Tommy Hilfiger brings The Chainsmokers in store for pranks in new video campaign
Tommy Hilfiger is bringing its online influencers offline once again to surprise fans in store.
At the Tommy Hilfiger store in New York City on 5th avenue, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers, teamed up with social media influencer and comedian F*ckJerry to play a series of pranks on shoppers.
The stunt resulted in an 11-minute video that was posted and shared online. The video has been viewed over 22 000 times.
In the video, the chainsmokers help customers steal clothes and try to get each other fired, while F*ckJerry feeds them lines through a hidden microphone.
The US ready-to-wear label tapped The Chainsmokers as its new menswear brand ambassadors worldwide earlier this summer. The musician/producer duo first appeared in Tommy Hilfiger autumn 2017 advertising campaign.
Tommy Hilfiger has a long line of collaborations including with the likes of David Bowie, Iman and Naomi Campbell.
One of the label’s most recent partnerships – with Supermodel Gigi Hadid – has helped Tommy Hilfiger increase in sales, as well as its social media presence.
Gigi Hadid, is a global ambassador for the sportswear brand, and equally has her own collaboration line dubbed TommyXGigi.
Tommy Hilfiger is currently owned by PVH Corp, which also owns brands such as Calvin Klein and Izod.
