Tiffany & Co and Louis Vuitton boost Selfridges' luxury credentials at Bullring
Dec 1, 2017
Luxury shopping in Birmingham has just become more prestigious, as two high-end designer brands open for the first time in the city at the Selfridges store in Bullring.
Tiffany & Co. has opened a 1,400 sq ft boutique on the fourth floor of Selfridges, designed by an in-house team following the brand’s aesthetic guidelines. The boutique features the brand’s jewellery collections including diamonds and gemstones, as well as fashion jewellery.
The jeweller said Birmingham was chosen for the new store as the city has a “growing luxury marketplace with a vibrant cultural scene”. The company, known for its signature aqua blue packaging, has two existing stores in Selfridges branches in London and Manchester.
Joining Tiffany & Co at Selfridges Birmingham is Louis Vuitton, which has launched a 1,700 sq ft store stocking the new ‘Masters’ collection in collaboration with Jeff Koons, alongside men’s and women’s leather goods, accessories, shoes and women’s fragrance.
Sam Watts, Selfridges Birmingham general manager, said: "The arrival of Louis Vuitton, Fumo and Tiffany has added to the roll-call of about 200 premium brands that are sold exclusively in the Birmingham store. We’re constantly evolving and finding new brands for our customers to discover. These exciting changes on Level Four have added yet another degree of luxury that helps us to stand out in the busy retail sector in the city centre.”
The 270,000 sq ft Selfridges Birmingham is located in Bullring shopping centre. Michaela Moore, General Manager of the mall said: “Combined with the opening of Fumo in Selfridges last month, Bullring now boasts a mix of luxury brands more akin to central London than ever before.”
