Texworld: 94 new exhibitors expected

Published
Jul 20, 2012

The textile show at Le Bourget announced that it has already registered 750 exhibitors, including 94 newcomers. The latter hail mainly from India, Hong Kong, the U.S., China, Belarus, Turkey and South Korea.

Among the new exhibitors, silk and silk fabrics will be well represented. China will thus bring the Huzhou International Chamber of Commerce, with two local companies that specialize in these materials. The Japanese Saiei Orimono will, in turn, present an ultrafine silk. On the knit side, the Turkish Ege Tekstil and Mem Tekstil will present their respective knit textiles, the former in a wide range of materials, the latter specializing in cotton and bamboo.

Casual-sportswear will, in turn, see the arrival of the South Korean company Texever Plus, which works primarily with coated cotton and cotton-polyester blends. its compatriot, Woojeong Corporation, will demonstrate its mastery of cellulose and its Tencel and linen blend. Linen also will be front and center at Orsha Linen, a Belarusian company that specializes in working with the natural material. As for denim, it will be notably represented by the Chinese company Advance Denim, which will show its stretch fabrics in the Lenzing Pavilion.

At its last fall edition, held from the 19th to the 22nd of September 2011, the Messe Frankfurt trade fair was attended by 800 exhibitors and recorded 15,424 visits during the four days, a 4.5% increase.
