Sport 2000 International grows stronger in northern Europe

With the addition of Team Sportia from Sweden and SGN Sportia from Finland, two sport retailers owned by the SGN group, the Sport 2000 cooperative expands its presence in northern Europe.

Team Sportia is a network of 105 stores in Sweden with a revenue of approximately €35 million, while SGN Sportia numbers 56 stores in Finland, generating sales of €36 million.

The Sport 2000 International purchasing group claims to be number two in Europe and last year saw its revenues increase by 5%, reaching over €6.2 billion. In the course of the year, the network added 49 new retail units, reaching 3,728 stores in more than twenty countries.
