Cornish fashion brand Seasalt and women’s fashion brand Apricot have opened new stores at St David’s in Cardiff, following the launch of a Victoria’s Secret store in Grand Arcade last month.

Seasalt has launched its first store in Wales

Opening for the first time in Wales, Seasalt has launched a 1,829 sq ft unit adjacent to Jo Malone and Cath Kidston on the corner of The Hayes and Tredegar Street. The brand, known for its maritime-inspired clothing and accessories, will be offering a taste of coastal living with its womenswear, footwear and accessories collections.

Neil Chadwick, Seasalt co-founder, said it's the brand's first Welsh shop and is "a brilliant location with great charisma and such a great catchment, the destination was the obvious choice.”

Apricot has taken a 4,562 sq ft store located next Accessorize and Primark. The new store stocks the brand’s range of trend-led fashion pieces and accessories, including some limited edition collections.

St David’s is anchored by the largest John Lewis outside of London, plus Debenhams and Marks & Spencer, and also has 200 other shops and restaurants. The shopping centre has a wide variety of national and international retailers, such as H&M, Primark, New Look and River Island and premium brands including Hugo Boss, Radley, Vivienne Westwood and Jo Malone.
