Scotch & Soda is shutting its Atelier Scotch

A failed attempt. Last year, Scotch & Soda presented its new line dedicated to tailoring and baptised Atelier Scotch at the Pitti Uomo Florence trade fair. The line benefitted from a specific commercial strength and even received its own first store in Amsterdam in September.

But, at this year's 87th edition of Pitti Uomo, currently taking place in the Tuscan city, there is no presentation of the line. In fact, it has been stopped after two seasons.

Kellwood-Sun Capital Partners, owner of the brand since mid-2011, are said to have judged it more useful to focus investments on the reinforcement of the Scotch & Soda lines for men and Maison Scotch for women.
