Safilo and Jimmy Choo renew eyewear license agreement to 2023

Safilo Group and Jimmy Choo announced on Monday the renewal of their eyewear license agreement to the end of 2023.
 
The new agreement also includes the launch of a Jimmy Choo men's collection. A first capsule edition is set to be presented starting from January 2018.

The Italian eyewear creator and distributor currently had a licensing agreement until December 31, 2018, for the design, production and distribution of eyewear for the luxury fashion house.
 
“We are very satisfied with this early renewal, that comes on the back of the excellent success of the eyewear category of this iconic fashion-luxury brand, with leading growth rates in the sun and ophthalmic categories,” says Luisa Delgado, CEO of Safilo, in a news statement.

Safilo’s portfolio includes other luxury brands such as Carrera, Polaroid, Fendi, Gucci, Céline, and more.
