Première Vision’s Parisian clothing fabric trade show, held from September 16 - 18 at the Parc des Expositions in Villepinte, just outside of Paris, has handed out its awards. In the end, four Italian companies left with four trophies.

The Innovation Prize went to the company Ala Campolmi Industry, which specializes in wool, while the Handle Prize was awarded to the Luxury Jersey. Lanificio Faisa was in turn awarded the Imagination Prize. And the jury conferred the grand prize to GdA, a company based in Como, Italy that designs and manufactures printed and finished fabrics.

Chaired by Yiqing Yin, artistic director of Leonard house, the jury of 6th edition of the PV Awards included Vladimiro Baldin (Product Development & Style Coordination Director at Diesel) Francamaria Bartolucci (in charge of product development at Vivienne Westwood), Edward Crutchley (consultant, textile design and development at Louis Vuitton Homme) and Clare Johnston (head of the textiles program at the Royal College of Art).
