Puma recently appointed Michael Bennett to lead Puma Safe, the company's sustainable development department. Bennett joined the sports outfitter last year, with the task of managing from Hong Kong the order and delivery flows between Puma's subsidiaries and their subcontractors.

In addition to Puma Safe, Bennett also retains the directorship of Puma International Trading Services. On the sustainable development side, the executive succeeds Reiner Hengstmann, who left voluntarily.
Michael Bennett enjoyed a long stint in India, where he notably worked at Decathlon, Kiabi and Tesco. Before joining the German brand in January 2015, Bennett worked at Coach, where over the course of two years he supervised the operations of the manufacturing units in China, the Philippines, Thailand and Burma. He now reports directly to Lars Sorensen, the board member in charge of operations and logistics.
