Primark to open giant store in Spain’s Bilbao

After opening its largest store in Madrid on Gran Vía Street in October, the Irish retailer is preparing the launch of a new five or six-storey Primark store in Bilbao, to open in 2016.
According to the Spanish newspaper, El Correo, the new shop will be located in BBVA’s tower in Bilbao, a 21-storey skyscraper that was vacated by the banking group in a relocation scheme that saw its headquarters moved to Madrid.
Spain is the second largest international market of Primark after the United Kingdom, with a flagship store in Madrid and another location in Vitoria.
