Première Vision Pluriel: 1,771 exhibitors across six shows

Published
Feb 11, 2014

1,771 exhibitors will gather across six shows for the next edition of Première Vision Pluriel in Paris, taking place between February 18 and 20.

For the event, organisers have created Pluriel Experts Trails - two different buying guides for footwear and for streetwear - aimed at helping designers conceive their collection.

Première Vision will feature 740 exhibitors this time around, an increase on the February 2013 edition. Aside from the regulars, the show will be welcoming 25 new weavers, spinners and knitters, 15 of which come from Europe and Asia.

For its fourth edition, Knitwear Solutions will bring together 24 knitters and spinners. Maison d’Exception will showcase 19 artists and workshops offering exceptional, traditional or innovative products for it’s third edition. Access to this area is by invitation only.

Expofil, the yarn and fibres section of the trade fair, will display 40 companies, 5 of which are new for this edition. 68% of exhibitors in this section are European, 18% Asian and 10% American.

Some 197 companies will come together to create Indigo, a section of the show focused on creative textiles and surface designs. This year the British will represent 42% of the offering, France 18%, Italy 14% and the United States 10%. 25 new exhibitors will take part in Indigo, 20 of those being European. Also present will be 11 designs school (including new addition, the Norwich University of the Arts) and 13 studios specialized in knits.

14 new exhibitors will join Modamont, translating to a total of 294 accessories and components exhibitors in total. 51% of those are coming from Italy, 18% from France and 8% from Germany.

Zoom by Fatex will present 127 fashion manufacturing specialists, including 15 new exhibitors. Amongst countries present are Morocco (25%), Hungary (20%), Tunisia (12%) and Portugal (11%). The offering will be geared mainly towards ready-to-wear but will include accessories for women (36%), men (29%), children (19%) and infants (16%).

For it’s 26th edition, Leather in Paris will bring together 350 exhibitors. With 22 new additions this time around, the show will take up 26% more floor space in Hall 3. As with its neighboutr Modamont, the offering will be largely Italian (63%), French, Spanish and Turkish.

Las year, Première Vision Pluriel welcomed 58,000 professionals from across the world, up 5.8% on the previous year.
