Pierre Hardy has just opened his first US store in New York City, located at 30 Jane Street in the West Village. The store, once a historical carriage house, was conceived in collaboration with MR architecture and now shelters his 140 m² flagship store.

An installation of polished concrete cubes present Pierre Hardy’s collections, while a separate section with leather flooring and smoked glass creates an intimate space for customers to sit down.

In celebration of the opening of his New York shop, Pierre Hardy created a special
sculptural women’s sandal. It pays homage to Manhattan through a patchwork of leather
strips that evoke the scintillating mirror effect of buildings and skyscrapers.

The sandal is perched on a gold-mirrored platform heel with a geometric rectangular plate. This style will be exclusively distributed to the Pierre Hardy shops of Paris and New York.
