Peak Performance: Nicolas Warchalowski named CEO

Peak Performance has announced the appointment of Nicolas Warchalowski as CEO. Warchalowski previously served as head of the Swedish outdoor brand Haglöfs and now succeeds Anders Cleemann at Peak Performance.

Nicolas Warchalowski started his career at Procter & Gamble in 1995. In 2002, he joined Red Bull as area manager W. Europe before working for the energy drink giant in the United States for three years. In 2009, he joined Haglöfs, as sales and marketing director, before becoming CEO just 18 months later.

Peak Performance, which was also founded in Sweden in 1986, is owned by IC Companys (Malene Birger, Tiger of Sweden...) and makes up 36% of the Danish group’s business. For its 2013/2014 fiscal year, the brand saw sales remain stable at 930 million Danish kroner (about 124 million euros) with an operating profit of 67 million.
