Oakley names ex-Rip Curl CEO as head of Europe

Published

American brand Oakley has appointed Olivier Cantet, former CEO at Rip Curl, as head of European operations. Cantet takes over from Frank Heissat who left the company several weeks ago to join Le Coq Sportif as CEO.

Olivier Cantet has notably served as deputy managing director at Lafuma, before moving to Rip Curl in 2003 as CEO of its European activities, before moving up in 2009 to take care of the EMEA regions. Cantet left Rip Curl in January this year after the group announced a major European restructuring.
