Nike reshuffles management after Umbro and Cole Haan sale

Published
Dec 19, 2012

Following the sale of Umbro and Cole Haan in October and November respectively, Roger Wyett, former President of Nike Affiliates – which consisted of Converse, Umbro, Hurley and Cole Haan – is transitioning to the role of VP Action Sports. In this new role, Wyett will be looking after Hurley and the company’s other snow and skate brands.

Sandy Bodecker previously held the role for five years and will now be working on other projects for Nike, mainly within the realms of product innovation. In the new structure of the group, Jim Calhoun, CEO of Converse, will report directly to the CEO of the Nike Group, Mark Parker. Scott LeClair, VP of Nike Skate and Nike Snow and Bob Hurley, CEO of Hurley, will report to Roger Wyett.

The management reshuffle falls in line with the group’s desire to relocate surf activity to the Hurley brand and to concentrate on Nike’s skate and snow offering separately.
