Nicola Formichetti links with Amazon for instantly shoppable LFW collection
Amazon Fashion has linked up with Nicola Formichetti’s Nicopanda brand for a London Fashion Week special collection that will be available to buy straight away in key European markets. And in certain London postcodes, it will be available for delivery within an hour.
Nicopanda is showing at LFW on the official schedule for the first time this September with an event at Amazon’s much-publicised Hoxton mega-studio. The collaboration collection will be part of the wider offer being shown by the brand on September 16 with six pieces of the unisex line being available for see now, buy now purchase via the e-tailer’s five European fashion e-stores.
The items include a bomber jacket, giant scarf, hoodie, long-sleeved tee, clutch bag and leggings.
Diesel artistic director Formichetti said the collection has an international street-culture aesthetic [with] signature Nicopanda graphic motifs and a bold colour palette.”
The UK’s premier fashion event has increasingly attracted mass-market retailers and brands looking to make an impact outside of the traditional seasonal approach in recent years. See now, buy now has also become a key part of both the men’s and women’s events, led by Burberry’s shift to an instantly shoppable timetable.
