Fiorucci’s licence, which used to belong to Japanese denim giant Edwin before being acquired by Ittierre, is going to give rise to a jeans collection, created in partnership with supermodel Naomi Campbell. Expected for the Summer/Spring 2012 season, the collection is going to be presented for the first time at Milan Fashion Week Menswear.

Behind the operation is Ittierre, recently bought by Italian group Albisetti. After the costly lost of its Just Cavalli licence to Staff International, Ittierre saw a turnaround in fortunes after securing two important licences consecutively: Balmain’s second line (men and women), and now Fiorucci, which should bring in sales of up to 50 million euros according to Ittierre’s forecasts. The group is already the holder of licences for C'N'C' Costume National, Galliano and Ermanno by Ermanno Scervino.
