Mulberry taps commerical director from LVMH
Steven Newey, former general manager at LVMH brand Berluti, will join British luxury label Mulberry as commercial director. Starting on May 1 in this newly-created position, Newey will oversee retail, wholesale and e-commerce at the brand. He will report to CEO Bruno Guillon.
The news comes shortly after sourcing director Ian Scott leaves the brand after a nine-year stint. Creative director Emma Hill also left the company and a replacement has yet to be found.
In January, the publicly-owned company sent out its third profit warning to investors in the space of two years.
