Mulberry, Sophie Hulme to open at Burlington Arcade

One of London’s most treasured shopping destinations, the Burlington Arcade, is updating its retailer mix with the addition of Mulberry and Sophie Hulme.

Mulberry will open its new boutique later this month, showcasing a carefully selected range of signature and seasonal gifts for him and her, including iconic Mulberry bags and small leather goods, the Evening Standard reports.

The boutique will feature a small gin bar on the second floor created in partnership with British gin brand Hepple.

British handbag brand Sophie Hulme will also open a store at the covered shopping street in the heart of Mayfair. This will be the first standalone location for the brand, joining existing points of sale in Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty and Fortum & Mason.

Their signing follows the arrival of Manolo Blahnik in the Burlington Arcade in February last year, and the introduction of new stone floor.

The shopping gallery is home to exclusive luxury brands such as Chanel, La Perla, Harrys of London, Penhaligon’s and Crockett and Jones.
