Monki teams up with ASOS for global distribution

Published
Jun 20, 2013

H&M’s younger sister brand Monki has teamed up with global e-commerce platform ASOS to distribute their goods internationally. From early July, ASOS will stock the majority of the Monki line along with a range of exclusive items designed especially for the cause. Cheap Monday, operated by the same group as Monki, is already sold on ASOS.

Currently available in 20 countries, this partnership with ASOS will allow Monki to reach a much more global audience. Today, the chain has 65 stores in Europe and Asia and its own e-store that distributes to 18 countries in Europe.

Launched in 2006 in Sweden, Monki was bought by retailing giant H&M in 2008 at the same time that the group took over Weekday and Cheap Monday.
