Missoni: Emilio Carbonera Giani new CEO

Published
May 15, 2015

Missoni has a new CEO: Emilio Carbonera Giani, who previously oversaw the management of the Italian luxury menswear brand Caruso. Giani succeeds Alberto Piantoni, whose contract ended and was not renewed earlier this year.

In a statement, Missoni emphasized its new CEO’s “significant experience at Made in Italy companies." Giani has previously served as COO of Valentino Group  and as head of marketing and licensing at Salvatore Ferragamo.

At Missoni, he will be tasked with "defining its business development strategies by strengthening production, distribution, marketing and communication," according to the ready-to-wear brand's statement.
