McArthurGlen recruits Susannah Bosanquet as Director of Communications
McArthurGlen, Europe’s leading designer outlet group with centres in Germany, Italy, UK, France and more, is set to grow its retail footprint by 50% in the next three years.
As part of this, the company has announced the appointment of Susannah Bosanquet to the new role of Director of Communications & PR. A communications expert with more than 30 years of experience, Bosanquet will lead McArthurGlen’s consumer, corporate, brand partner marketing and B2B communications activities worldwide as it continues to drive growth across its key markets.
McKenzie will also lead an in-house team based in the company’s London headquarters and its key regional centres, as well as PR agencies in the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Canada, Russia, Korea and China.
Shaeren McKenzie, McArthurGlen's Group Marketing Director, said: "Following three years of consistently strong growth, with McArthurGlen's total centre turnover increasing by almost 30%, we are poised for our biggest programme of expansion since we opened the first designer outlet in Europe in 1995."
McArthurGlen plans to add seven new outlets to its portfolio, which already includes 22 designer outlets in nine countries including Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK. Opening in 2019, the group is also preparing to expand seven existing centres.
In 2015, McArthurGlen was voted as Best Outlet Operator in Europe for the fourth consecutive year.
