Matthew Williamson appoints new CEO

Matthew Williamson has announced that current chief executive officer Joesph Velosa will be replaced by Niki Scordi. Velosa will become chairman of the company.

Niki Scordi left her position at British label Nicole Fahri in May after a four year stint to become managing director at Matthew Williamson. Of the promotion, Scordi said: “We will continue to extend the brand’s presence globally, through both fashion and related product ranges. I look forward to working closely with Matthew and Joseph to realise the brand’s vision."
