Designer footwear brand Manolo Blahnik has opened an exclusive boutique at London Selfridges on Oxford Street, just five months after its Mayfair debut in Burlington Arcade.

The second-floor 753-square-feet store, devised by the shoe designer in collaboration with Nick Leith-Smith Architecture and Design, opened doors Monday, July 4 with a limited-edition black patent sandal with white piping, to mark its debut.

The launch signals an expansion in the city for Manolo Blahnik -- which has 290 points of sale in 33 countries, 11 standalone stores, and a newly-minted e-commerce platform.
