Lyst names Scott VP of communications

Fashion etailer Lyst has appointed Rory Scott VP of Communications. Scott was most recently the Head of PR at betting company Paddy Power.

At Lyst, he will lead on communications strategy and campaigns in America, the site's principal market. Scott is Lyst CMO Christian Woolfenden's first high profile appointment - Woolfenden is the former Managing Director & CMO at Paddy Power, and the two worked together for three years at the betting company.

Scott said, "The team at Lyst have spent years perfecting the product and honing the shopping experience so I'm delighted to be joining at a time when marketing the brand will take center stage. Working again with Christian is very exciting and I'm really looking forward to straddling both New York and London to help drive the brand forward."

Scott has also worked for Coca Cola, Sky and Cargill. Woolfenden said: "Rory was responsible for delivering some of the biggest and boldest campaigns ever to come out of Paddy Power, and we’re looking forward to bringing this disruptive energy to the fashion space."

Earlier this year, ad agency Anomaly, which made Lyst's first ad campaign, announced the acquisition of a stake in the online fashion retailer.
