London Fashion Week schedule announced

The provisional schedule for London Fashion Week's September edition - to be held on September 16-20 - has been released by the British Fashion Council.

The week will open on Friday the 16th of September with a presentation by Antipodium. And there has been a number of new additions to the line-up, including Versus Versace, which will end the Saturday show schedule at 9pm. The Italian brand held its first catwalk show at London Fashion Week last September, when it showed at Victoria House in Bloomsbury.

MM6 Maison Martin Margiela is also showing at London Fashion Week this season, with a presentation on the Sunday. The label has previously shown in New York. Burberry is showing both its menswear and womenswear lines at the same show, which will end the LFW Monday at 7.30pm.

Paula Knorr, the latest NEWGEN recipient, will show her collection in a presentation at the BFC Presentation Space on the Friday. Newcomers to the schedule are also ROBERTS | WOOD, Malone Souliers and milliner Piers Atkinson, who will all host presentations for the first time.

And it will be easier than ever to follow London Fashion Week this season, as the BFC has just launched a new Instagram account, @londonfashionweek, which will feature designer news, live coverage, behind the scene insights and schedule updates.
